Odomo TV
Tonko House was invited to be part of a fun program called Odomo TV on NHK in Japan. This is an incredible project that takes the creative things that kids do, like dancing, writing, and drawing, and brings them to life with animation. You can watch them all at the link below.
The first season features animated stories inspired by the children’s writing. The second season is based on animated drawings and tales told to us in interviews. All of the stories are executed on a chalkboard to bring to life the raw and loose nature of the kids’ ideas. The project was supervised and animated by Toshi Nakamura.
